What's the read

FAQ

What is a read?

Your current side on a question. Tap an outcome to set it. Tap again on another outcome to change it.

Do I need an account?

No. A cookie on this device is enough. We do not sell access or take bets.

What is Crowd vs Odds?

Crowd is how reads on this board are split right now. Odds is the linked market price. They stay two numbers so you can compare them.

Where do the questions come from?

From Polymarket markets we import and refresh. Each question page links to the source. We may add a matched second odds line later when the same event is clearly linked; that is not on the board yet.

Can I look without voting?

Yes. The board and charts are public. Setting a read is optional.

What does Early mean?

The sample of reads is still small. Treat the crowd share as provisional until more reads land.

What does Reads closed mean?

Odds have pinned near a settled price. The standing stays up, but new reads are not accepted.

What happens when a question resolves?

Status becomes Resolved with the winning side. A Winner mark sits on that outcome. The page keeps the last comparable crowd and odds for the record.

Is this gambling?

No. There is nothing to stake and no payout. If you want the market itself, use the source link on the question.

Why a security check sometimes?

To slow automated junk reads. Complete the check, then tap your side again.

Privacy

We store a device cookie so your read sticks on this browser, plus the reads and board data needed to show the standing. We do not run a user profile product. Abuse limits may use standard request signals.
